- App Marker
- A FeaturedAppActivityMarker records weighted Featured App activity. These markers contribute to app reward allocation and are part of the compliance-guidance view.
- App Reward Weight
- The weighted activity a Featured App contributes through markers and related transfer activity in the selected period. It is used to compare relative Featured App activity and reward allocation.
- App Rewards
- USD value of CC rewarded to Featured Apps. The reward pool is split each round among active Featured Apps in proportion to their weighted activity. Reported in USD using each transfer's receive-time CC price.
B1 term
- BME
- Burn-Mint Equilibrium compares CC burned to CC minted. A ratio of 1.0 means burns match new issuance for the selected window; below 1.0 is net inflationary and above 1.0 is net deflationary.
C5 terms
- CC Burned
- CC burned is Canton Coin removed from circulation, primarily through traffic fees.
- CC Price (market)
- The market price of Canton Coin in USD. This is distinct from the onchain conversion rate set by Super Validators, which is used by the protocol for traffic-fee accounting.
- CC Supply
- The circulating Canton Coin supply shown as a dashboard snapshot. This card stays marked Preview until the canonical network overview endpoint lands and the value can be sourced directly from backend network metrics.
- Compliance Ratio
- A Featured App guidance metric comparing weighted featured activity against burn, following official guidance from the Tokenomics Committee.
- Coverage
- Coverage shows how many expected rounds have ingested data in the selected window. A full count means every round in that window contributed to the displayed metrics.
F2 terms
- Featured App

H1 term
- Halving
- A scheduled reduction in Canton reward issuance.
L1 term
- Liveness Reward
- A validator reward for staying active and supporting the network. It is separate from Featured App rewards and from Super Validator rewards. As of April 2026, the network no longer mints liveness rewards.
M1 term
- Market Cap
- Market cap is circulating CC supply multiplied by the market CC price. It remains only as reliable as the supply input, so this dashboard marks it Preview while supply is not yet backed by the canonical network metrics API.
O1 term
- Onchain Conversion Rate
- The protocol USD-per-CC conversion rate set by Super Validators.
P1 term
- Party
- A Canton PartyID is an on-chain identity. It behaves like a wallet-like account, but is hosted by a validator node. A single real-world organization can operate more than one party.
R2 terms
- Reward Coupon
- Reward coupons are protocol primitives that can be redeemed for CC rewards. App, validator, and Super Validator rewards use coupon-like primitives, though the public UI should usually describe the result as rewards.
- RoundCanton Network docs
- A Canton mining round is the network heartbeat. Rounds are roughly 10-minute cycles used for rewards, traffic accounting, and other protocol activity.
S1 term
- Super Validator
- A Super Validator is a validator that also helps run the Global Synchronizer. They earn rewards from an allocated SV pool, based on their weight.
T1 term
- Traffic
- Traffic is synchronizer bandwidth on Canton. Traffic fees are denominated in USD, paid in CC, and burned by the protocol.
U1 term

V1 term
